There was a graphic design competition held in multimedia lab on 1st of August organised by the IT Brigades.
Look at this couple. Both face also bulat-bulat one. So match!
Without hesitation, I joined Cheng Hao's group as I knew I could done quite well in editing photo.
(In this competition, it requires 2 students to form a group)
On that particular day, I tried to conceal myself in the multimedia lab, the venue of the competition before Pn. Yong could check my add math homework even though the competition had not started yet. (I did not complete the add math exercise =.=ll...)
15 minutes later, all the participants including participants from other schools such as Pudu Girls School and SMK SAB arrived. We went into the lab and paid for registration fee, which was RM5 for MBS students and RM10 for outsiders.
After paying the fees, we started searching for a place to sit. We tested some computers in order to get the best quality computer. Yet Cheng Hao persevered in sitting beside Vivien...
So, we ended up sitting with Vivien and her partner..
After that, Mr Wong, our school principal was invited to deliver his rubbish useless speech.
Subsequently, the Master of Ceremony told us to have our refreshment in the canteen guided and accompanied by the ushers.
Breakfast- a plate of nasi Lemak and a cup of coffee.
Complaints - coffee tasteless, sambal not spicy enough, etc.
(There were even comments from students from other schools - "it shouldn't be called breakfast, but berakfast"
After having our breakfast, we went back to the multimedia lab. The Master of Ceremony briefed us about the rules and regulations of the competition. When they showed us the rules and regulations through the projector, I was like... WOW... =.=ll
SOOOOooooooo many rules leaded by an asterisk respectively...
All participants were to find pictures from the Internet, and edit them to create a poster about "iGo Green".
Haha... iGo Green... what's iGo Green...? =.=ll
Neither of us knew wadda hell is that...
Perhaps it's something related to recycle. Perhaps it's something about replant. Perhaps...
Half of our confidence were gone as we did not know what's the real definition of the tittle. We simply found out some recycle and reuse and pollution pictures from the Internet, and edit, edit, edit.
After we finished our editing, it was only 12pm, and the time given was until 1.15pm. We still had A LOT of time to waste. I played the Rubik's cube while Cheng Hao went searching for animation via Internet.
Every participants was still doing their editing besides us. Here, another half of our confidence were gone as well.
Equation: Half confidence gone + Half confidence gone = ALL CONFIDENCE GONE
After the time was up, the ushers guided us to the canteen and had our lunch. While we were having our meal, the judges judged the winner of this competition. Well, definitely not us... =.=ll
Lunch - A plate of rice with fried chicken, vegetables and soup, syrup ice.
Complaints- Again, syrup tasteless, etc.
After having our meal, we headed back to the multimedia lab. The Master of Ceremony announced the winners of this competition.
"Consolation prize, bla bla bla and bla bla bla from MBSSKL! "
1% confidence...
"Second runner up, bla bla bla and bla bla bla from MBSSKL!"
Hopeless us.
"First runner up, bla bla bla and bla bla bla from SMK SAB!"
No more... no more... T.T
"And the winner of this competition is... Kriskumar and Sarvintharan from MBSSKL!"
Disappointed.
This is the entry by the champion, Kriskummar and Sarvintharan.
"The winner of this competition won Rm400..."
"WAHHH!!!" we stared at Kriskumar and Sarvintharan, admiring and envying them at the same time.
"Rm400 voucher!"
"Chey... =.=ll"
"Okay, you all may leave now," the Master of Ceremony announced, very cold...
A round of applause was given to the winners and we left the school and went back home respectively.
We did not win because our entry was out of the topic...
Hais... spent RM5... for...
A priceless certificate of participation.
And a souvenir that costs RM6.
Worth right? XD
